Hearing Aid Dispensers (HADs) need to renew their HCPC registration no later than midnight on Tuesday 31 July to avoid being removed from the Register. The renewal process is straightforward and can be done online here. HADs can email [email protected] with any queries on renewal or the CPD audit process Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
HADs must also have a professional indemnity arrangement in place and make sure that it provides appropriate cover. The HCPC defines appropriate as cover as, “cover needs to be appropriate to the risks involved in your practice so that enough compensation will be paid if a successful claim is made against you”.
