NCHA Member update: new guidance for audiology practices – 25 March 2020

The Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government have issued new guidance today that exempts community audiology clinics from general retail closures.

If you are providing essential and urgent audiology services during the Covid-19 crisis you should read today’s announcement in full

All members should continue to follow official public health advice and clinical guidance – see our last update 23 March

We continue to work with Hearing Loss and Deafness Alliance partners to ensure the sector can meet essential and urgent hearing health needs as set out in Action on Hearing Loss’s 24 March Coronavirus position statement and the BAA’s advice on essential activity for audiology.
