About Membership

The NCHA is committed to transforming hearing care so that it is more focussed on the needs of service users. We do this by supporting our members and decision-makers deliver hearing care closer to home, and by being the voice of community hearing care throughout the UK. You can read our goals here.

The NCHA is open to all hearing providers, regardless of organisational form or size.  That means if you are an individual, SME or large provider and working in the NHS, private or third sector, you are eligible to join the NCHA.

Benefits of Membership

  • Being part of a strong and united voice that speaks to governments, the wider hearing sector, the NHS and key decision-makers and influencers
  • Influencing the future of hearing care – take part in the work that we do
  • Direct access to the policy team – have your say and influence policy
  • Access to the membership area of the website – where you can access useful resources such as online HR policies, business news and guidance
  • AGM and networking with peers
  • HCPC registrants can also apply for professional indemnity insurance – find out more here

Costs of Membership

To make NCHA membership accessible to all there are four categories of membership.

Membership fees for organisations are based on Full Time Equivalent (FTE). This means organisations that rely on part-time hearing care professionals pay less than if the fee was based on each individual.
